Perth Festival has played a pivotal role in the city’s cultural development and has been the springboard for a number of iconic events and institutions. Try to imagine life here without Perth’s first FM radio station RTR; the Black Swan State Theatre Company, The Leeuwin Concert; The Giants and the reinvention of Kings Park with Boorna Waanginy.
Over its history, Perth Festival’s impact has extended far beyond the performance stage. The Festival’s meaningful programs that support our local young artists that connect with the public and educate our students are now embedded in what we do.
These additional programs are only possible thanks to the support of our donors. On 1 November Perth Festival was thrilled to announce the opportunity to specifically support these new Giving Programs that focus on the Festival’s impact in the community; Education Program, WA Arts Sector Development Program, Artist-In-Residence Program and New Works Program.
We are honoured to have the support of the Ungar Family Foundation as Patrons of WA Arts Sector Development and Adrian and Michela Fini as our Artist-In-Residence Patrons to help grow support for these important programs.
