Dying to Live

An emotional new documentary in the making.

About

An emotional new documentary in the making.

Dying to Live is the forthcoming documentary by Richard Todd, who directed the highly successful Frackman (2015). Dying to Live follows the personal challenges of recipients and donor families across the country who are connected to the world of organ and tissue transplants, and asks how we in Australia can achieve a world-leading donation rate and encourage 'The Conversation'.

Todd and AACTA award-winning editor Lawrie Silvestrin (Whiteley, Karroyul) will present rough cuts of scenes from Dying to Live and will discuss their approaches to finding the emotional heart of the film.

From Aquarius Productions and Intrinsic Story with funding from Screen Australia, Screenwest, Screen Queensland, Good Pitch Australia, Shark Island Institute and Documentary Australia Foundation
