Additional information

The Arts Centre is an old hospital building with generally wide corridors internally. The site is generally level and external paths are wide, with a slab surface.

Areas within the venue:
Soft Soft Loud will be in the Inner Courtyard. Access to the Inner Courtyard is via a level slab pathway. The Courtyard is a gently sloping lawn; all patrons will be required to traverse grass to reach the seated area.
Wheelchair spaces are available within the seated area; please note this area is on grass.
The entrance to the ground floor of the Gallery is next to the Inner Courtyard. It is a slab path leading to a door 71cm wide.
An alternative entry to the Gallery is from reception which is down four steps with a handrail on one side.
Male and Female accessible toilets are located in the main toilet block on the east side of the building between the Samson Courtyard and the staff car park.
Pick up and set down parking is available on Finnerty Street near the main entry.

Etiquette

Non-commercial photographs are welcome in FAC’s grounds and inside the building. Please note FAC’s grounds are open to the public daily and are not available for photography bookings.

Dogs are not permitted in FAC’s grounds, guide, hearing and assistance dogs excepted.

Parking

Free 4 hour parking bays are available outside Fremantle Arts Centre on Finnerty Street. There is also limited free street parking available on Ord and Vale Streets.

Paid parking bays are available at the Fremantle Leisure Centre (located opposite Fremantle Arts Centre on Ord Street).

Accessible parking
There are two accessible parking bays at the front entrance on Finnerty Street. Additional street parking is available on surrounding streets. Please refer to all street signs for parking limits and restrictions.
Concert & Events parking
Additional parking space is available at John Curtin College oval, adjacent to Fremantle Arts Centre.

Transport options

The free Central Area Transport RED CAT route includes a ‘Fremantle Arts Centre’ stop on Ord Street. The RED CAT operates every 15 minutes from 7.30am – 6.15pm. Monday to Friday and every 15 minutes on the weekends and public holidays between 10am and 6.15pm.
