About the Artist

Sally Bower (WA)
A Maker and Designer from Fremantle Sally Bower is behind the label DELI. Making simple custom made clothing with an emphasis on living in the clothes you wear. With a strong history with clothes, fabric and embellishments. Focusing on play, words, humor, feelings connecting ideas through fabric, embroidery, applique and occasionally movement. I find embroidery a fantastic way of communicating an idea or scene onto fabric. Enjoying the low fy/low key way of making them in contrast to the time, commitment and patience the practice require to create each small scene.
